I like that Misha Collins real twitter account sent out the messages you see in the episode. But mishamigos shouldn't fear for his well-being based on what they saw in the episode. He sent this one out after the episode aired:

My phone was stolen and apparently cast into a parallel universe devoid of magic. I've retrieved it. I promise it won't happen again.

Nyáááááál

- Still, you’re a good kisser.

After they got their beds in a sick-ward with six beds ban could slip out to the corridor to give a call to Craft. It wasn’t late but she was almost sure that Bruce told her about Ban’s exiting from the lab.
She was right; Craft was so worried and she was patrolling in the city with Steve to find her. She threatened Ban, then started crying, then Steve took the phone from her and told Ban they were going to the hospital. Then a nurse found her and told her back to bed.
Half an hour later their friends broke into the room. Craft had Steve’s jacket on her, and they both were soaking wet, Natasha had her training clother on under her coat and Thor didn’t wear a coat, but his shirt was turned out, so he obviously dressed up in a hurry. Bruce was there too, but he stayed back.
Craft was broken, she almost started yelling at Ban, and wanted to attack her, which was a very cute attempt, but Steve held her down until she calmed down to quiet sniffing.
- How can you be so stupid? I bet that you were rushing up and down on the road like it’s your playground. You could’ve died!
- We didn’t – Tony stated. – I almost did, by the way. Scarlett saved me.
Natasha pulled her chair between the two beds.
- Tell me. Everything.
- We’re very interested in why exactly did you ran out and attempted suicide on the highway without telling anyth... – Craft started to get angry again, but Steve covered her mouth.
- I just got annoyed – Ban shrugged her shoulder. The good one. Tony nodded.
- Ditto. At her.
- So you went out to settle your differences on the road...?
- No way.
- We only recognized each other after we fell from the road. Our differences didn’t seemed that important there.
- She saved my life.
- Would you quit it?
- How come? Were you out? – Natasha frowned. Tony licked his lower lip.
- No... It’s... I just want you to know. Some of you already know. Don’t take it too personally, but I consider all of you my friends.
- We won’t take it personally – Natasha ensured him. He buttoned down his borrowed pajamas, and showed them the reactor.
- I thought it’d be better if you, at least knew. Like, if I’ll ever be out, you won’t just look at this thing, but know what’s it for.
They leaned closer as one person, looking at the gleaming circle.
- But... what’s this? – Steve asked. Natasha’s eyes widened.
- Holy shit, you really got a pacemaker! Why?
- First of all: it’s not a pacemaker, it’s much more complicated. And the why part, that Craft and Bruce already know.
Bruce shivered in the background, but didn’t come closer, and Tony didn’t look at him.
- Scarlett and Bruce knows the mechanism more or less, the others wouldn’t understand so I won’t explain it.
- We don’t even care – Natasha said again. – Tell me why do you need it.
- I had an accident in the summer.
Ban looked at him. She didn’t think about reasons on the slope, she only thought about keeping Tony alive and getting back to the city. Now it hit her.
I love you, I had an accident, and I changed. Stuff like that.
- Craft was there too. I was working on a generator that’d make possible to the factory to run on it’s own powers, and it was going well, but I had to overlook every step, cause they messed up a lot of things. So I stepped in the half-finished machine, to correct the mistakes and I was explaining the stuff to Craft. And the guys around us didn’t really payed attention, they switched the power back while I was in there.
He raised his eyes and saw all of them looking at him jaws dropped.
- I don’t really know what happened after that, and Craft wouldnt tell me, but my guess is that she went crazy, kicked everyone out, turned down the power, dragged me out and gave me CPR.
He grinned.
- I’m so sorry I can’t remember.
Craft blushed.
- It was hard. I’m weak.
- Anyway, I don’t know how, but she could make my heart work again for a while. Must’ve been magic, cause half of my heart was basically dead. Some elder engeniers from the factory put together a machine that stimulated my heart to work, but it needed bigger impulses and it made the state of the tissue worse. I was chained to bed and most likely had a few weeks back...
- Holy shit – Ban whispered, but didn’t realize that she said it out loud just when everyone looked at her. – Sorry.
- Nah. So Craft saved me again by scolding me. looking back it’s funny, but that time it really did the job. i used my time to small down and upgrade the arc reactor, and with the doctors and with the Bruce telephone-help-line we figured out a way to replace the dead part of my heart and to connect it to the reactor. And it works.
- It was Pepper – Craft said awkwardly. – She asked me to pull you together, since she couldn’t come. She booked a flight, but her company disabled it. She was basically trapped. And she told me not to tell you, but it’s been half a year now.
- Wow – Natasha said. – Day of truth. And I thought my summer was shitty.
- Tony, my friend – Thor patted his shoulder. – I’m more than pleased that you didn’t leave for Valhalla.
- Must have been tough – Steve grimaced painfully. – I’m... I’m just glag you’re alright now... More or less.
Ban didn’t say anything. For a while she just watched Tony as everyone talked to him, then just looked at her hand, which saved him, and for once she felt really happy that she was a genious mechanican.
- Bruce – Tony called out, and the guy shooked, with his face terrified, but came closer. – I’m not asking for anyone’s forgiveness, it’s just not my style.
Bruce swallowed, and let a small smile appear on his face.
- I know. Thanks.
- So – Tony fought hard to get the words out. – So if we can work it out somehow, it’s fine with me if Clint takes my bed. You can have our room. I’ll move in with Clant’s late roommate, if so.
Bruce looked at him unbelievingly, then started blinking, searching for words, but he just went to the bed and leaned closer.
- No huggin... oh shit Bruce, I hate hugging, stop it.
- Thanks Tony – his voice was trembling with emotions – You really are a great friend.
- Cut it out, you’re destroying my personal image. I’m a jerk.
Natasha chuckled, and soon they were all laughing again.
- Clint sends his best wishes too – Bruce added – He just tought it would be better if he didn’t show up.
- He’s right, I’ll kick his ass for being a showoff.
- When you’ll have a leg to kick with – Ban teased.

The doctors wouldn’t believe that they only had their breaks and a few other fractures after that fall, so they had to stay in for a while. The story of their accident spread like plague, and they had a lot of visitors, who wanted to hear it from them. It started to become a legend how they raced in the storm, fell because of other reasons and then rode themselves back to the hospital.
Tony enjoyed telling the part when they arrived after rain to the hospital, went in, leaning to each other, dirty and all wet, and the nurses would ask them what happened, and then they wouldn’t believe that they got back by themselves.
They agreed that the story was that Tony hit a tree hard and Ban kinda slapped him back to life; it wasn’t cool at all, but Tony didn’t want to leave out the part when Ban saved him.
There were classmates and their friends who were interested. Tony enjoyed the spotlight and Ban found it funny too; she was hardly in the middle of anything before. When they didn’t have visitors they were mostly talking about their semester’s-end project, and arguing about physical and chemical problems; their roommates didn’t pay attention to them, as they didn’t get a thing about what they were saying. Before the day they were released, their lab professor visited them; he was the last person they expected.

- Oh boy, I’m so ashamed of myself, I became a fangirl of you too, that’s so not cool...

Tony stumbled in the infirmary with his goggles on and all oil and dust. He smelled a little burnt too.
- I was in the lab, Tash came in... What happened?
Bruce was fine. Really. The doc said he could go back to his classes, but he decided to rest a bit. He wasn’t prepared to face the rumors, that most likely have spread already.
- I got hit.
- Wow, thanks Sherlock – Tony chuckled, and pulled a chair next to Bruce’s bed. – You don’t look so bad. You’ll have to ice your eye, though.
- Yeah, the doc told me too.
Tony started grinning again, and he said giggling:
- Hey Bruce, guess what... no, you’ll never guess. Out there – he gestured towards the door – They’re saying that – he chuckled again. – They’re saying that; you’re gay.
He burst out in laughter.
- I mean, pfffff, it was like, I almost died laughing when I first caught it,-
- Tony...
- And it’s-
- Tony.
He looked at Bruce, and his grin dropped. Neither said anything, but they didn’t even need to. Tony’s mouth opened, he blinket, stood up, took the chair back to it’s place and walked to the door.
- Holy shit.
He didn’t look back, just left. Bruce covered his face in his hands.
Yeah. Holy shit.

Tony didn’t go back to his – their – room. He spent all they in the lab, working on his project, and after they kicked him out late night, he didn’t know where to go. Whenever before he had a problem he’d go out for a drive, or talk to Bruce; but he didn’t feel like driwing, and the latter one wasn’t an option. He went to Steve’s room.
Thor wasn’t there; he went out with some girls and Steve didn’t expect him to show up before morning.
- So what’s the big problem? – he threw a can of beer to Tony. He soothed his forehead and then opened the can.
- Did you know? About... them?
He heared the rumors all day; he knew where it began, who were there, and what happened. He was partly amazed by Steve’s behaviour, but he was in a kind of a shock.
- Just when all the ruckus happened – Steve sat down opposite to Tony, on his bed. – It kinda hit me later, I’m still not sure if I even believe it.
- You were extremely calm, as I heared – he drank, and hesitated. – Are you...?
Steve blushed a little.
- Nah. No. I’m... dating Craft.
- Woah. Congratulations. Since...
- Saturday. Thanks to your party, I think, so thanks.
- Y’welcome. Not like I did anything.
They drank in silence. It took a beer for Steve to speak again.
- So... what now?
- Dunno. I... I can’t look at him the same way. We share a room and he’s gay...
- You were sharing a room since... – Steve started the regular clue, but Tony interrupted.
- I know, okay, I’ve been through this, all this in my mind, all day. But it’s not that easy, I’ve known him for years, and now this...
- He’s the same.
- Yeah, I guess. Not like he’s in love with me or anything like that. I know. But...
There was one loud knock on the door and Clint appeared, out of breath and sweating. Steve thought it was danger again, but he grinned.
- I got kicked out of my room.

And the following days were much more worse. Clint was grinning at everything, but he couldn’t hide completely how much the change of attention bothered him. Bruce simply felt like shit and tried to be invisible. Tony didn’t talk to him, and at lab, he didn’t even try to pair up with him, just went straight to Rachael. They no longer shared the room; after a quick discuss Clint moved in with Natasha, borrowing her floor, and Tony switched places with Thor. At least Thor wasn’t homophobic; he didn’t even bother to put on his clothes at night. Still, nobody accused him being gay.
Bruce glanced at Tony; he and Rachael were working in silence and that was unusual. Whatever their relationship was – which changed frequently – one of them always started to tease the other, and they were never in silence like this. But Tony looked tired; like when he was after his operation. The first one, not the final. Hopeless, sleepeless.
And it was his fault.
- So what’s going on now? – asked Ban finally, but all she got was a glare.
- Don’t tell me it’s not my business.
- It’s not – Tony growled, put his hand out, and Ban gave him the stuff he needed, while working on her side.
- Bruce’s my friend.
- Good for you. Go and question him.
- You’re his friend too.
He glared at her again, then turned to the machine.
- You can’t be this ignorant. Just because he’s...
- You don’t get it, okay? Now fuck off Scarlett.
Unbelievable. She stood there blinking. It wasn’t like Stark, she’s the one who’s telling him to fuck off, and he’s just grinning and not fucking off at the slightest. She threw down her tools.
- Fuck you Stark – she spat and stormed out of the class, leaving her stuff behind. The others looked at her empty place, then at Tony, but he didn’t react, so everyone slowly got back to their work.
He fused together two wires, and then the machine started to smoke and started to scintillate, and then blew up. This work was to two person.
Tony swore silently, dropped his equipment too, left his case and the smoking leftovers and walked of the class.
- Mr. Stark! – the prof yelled at him, probably because of the blown up assignement, but he didn’t pay attention.
Fuck all this shit.

Ban went to the parking lot. She didn’t use her motorbike too often, mostly when she went out of town, but she needed distraction, and driving like crazy on the wawy road to the next town seemed fine. The weather was cold too, wet and slimy from yesterday’s cold, november’s rain. She only had her big, old leather jacket on, and the helmet on her head, her hair tugged under it to protect it. She hoped to catch a cold; she could just stay in bed, feel sorry for herself and nobody could blame her for not caring about others. None, not even she herself.
She kicked in the gear; it was a very old motor, she bought it when she was at age fifteen, and she’s been working on it since then; now it was like the coolest motorbike she’s ever seen, and she knew every piece of it. She created the design, she bought every extra, never stopped upgrading it, and she loved doing this.
It was blue - and black – like Tony’s favourite car, but ran so much better. When she turned to the highway it started raining again. There was almost no traffic. It was weekday, noon and the sky was grey, it was cold; nobody wanted to go out. And Ban enjoyed the empty road very much. The jacket was all wet, and it started to let the rain through to her undershirt, but for some strange reason it still felt good. She drove much above speed limit, and overtook the few cars she met there like crazy, until another motor rider caught up with her. They went side by side for a while; Ban glanced at the other one; he had a last year’s type, but it was obviously used; he must’ve bought it immediately when it came out, so it cost a fortune. She liked the style, she got some ideas from that motor for her latest upgrade.
The other rider was wearing a safety helmet too, but she would’ve swore that he was grinning, and he made it unambiguos that he wanted to race. And who did Ban say ever no to, if it came to contests?
She coupled her baby up and went ahead; after a turn the guy caught up again, and started to speed up, but Ban held up to him. There was a car in front of them; they overtook it from two sides, leaving the surprised and honking vehicle back. The guy held up his thumb, and Ban laughed. It was raining heavy now and the sky turned dark grey, almost black. they had to turn on the lights.
It was dangerous to her and all the others – evenif there weren’t many – on the road, but she felt the adrenaline rushin in her veins and she enjoyed herself so much. She wondered if her self-voted companion knew the roads arond here; there was a steep curve coming up, but he didn’t slow down at all. She waved and gestured the turn; the guy got it, he gestured back, but then shrugged his shoulder, like ’Fuck the police’. Ban grinned again. In fact, she couldn’t stop grinning since they started their race.
She never found anyone as good and daring – Craft would say bold – as her, but this guy, hell he was perfect.
The turn was there but they hardly slowed down; they glanced at each other from time to time to see if the other one is slowing down on speeding up. Ban felt the gears sliding, but she still got it under control and it felt God-like. She couldn’t understand why didn’t she tried it before. She started to sing ’Highway to hell’ like she was shouting and the other guy must’ve heared some of it, cause his shoulders shook, like he was laughing and Ban guessed that he joined in the song too.
The curve ended and she got her answer; another turn followed, this time to the opposide direction and they almost ran into the wall; the guy’s leg even touched it as they drove past, and a third one followed; it was easier to take. This time Ban raised her thumb, and they both were a little late; just after the last turn there stood a car with both it’s repeaters flashing. They both snatched their handles bars to the left side, but Ban ran onto a waterflow, the first wheelbecame uncontrollable, and she started spinning on her side. The guy couldn’t stop either, his motor followed her down from the road on the abrupt slope.
She was screaming as she stumbled down, at first with her motor, hitting small trees, then she fell off and dashed into a tree. She couldn’t breathe for a few seconds, then heared an explosion from her not too far left; it was the other bike. She gasped horrified, snatched her helmet off her head, but her right arm wouldn’t move, so she crippled with one hand, then stood on her trembling feet and ran towards the flames; wasn’t much, the heavy rain almost put it out.
She let out a relieved sigh when she couldn’t see the guy anywhere near the wreck. He must’ve fallen off too. She looked around, but she couldn’t see much from the rain, and her wet hair fell into her eyes too. She turned around, if she could find any clue, and from behind her, she finally saw the other’s figure.
- Hey! – she shouted, trying to be louder than the rain, but her voice was shaking and husky. – I’m here!
As he got closer, she noticed that he was limping very hard; his left leg wouldn’t support him. Ban wanted to go to help him, but she took one step and her knees gave in, she collapsed.
- At first I thought you were a guy – shouted the actual guy as he crawled closer. – You’re rad!
She could hardly hear him, and couldn’t see, just when he was only a few meters far. And she dropped her jaw, as well as the guy.
- Stark?!
- Scarlett?!
- The fuck?! Are you stalking me?
He didn’t stop, and fell on his butt about a meter from Ban.
- Are you crazy?! Like I’d risk my neck just to stalk you. And they say I’m egoistic! What the hell were you doing here?
- Me? I’d ask the same question from you bitch, I was just driving the steam off!
- Wow, really, then guess what, me too.
- You can’t even drive the motor! And I was here first, you came later...
- What are you, five? This is a fucking highway! And I can drive my motor, better than you, as...
- Your motor blew up, Stark, you can’t drive shit!
- What?! You made my baby explode?
- Fuck no, what do you take me for, a sadist? I heared the explosion, hurried here, cause I was worried about you – which I didn’t know were you you.
- So you didn’t wish for my death from the beginning, nice to hear it.
- Fuck you Stark!
They were shouting; but it sounded like they were whispering, the rain suppressed any other sound. Tony looked at his late vehicle with a painful grimace on his face, but it could be because of his leg – he pulled up the other one, but he couldn’t move the left one.
- Okay, forget it, it’s a wreckage now... Just gimme your cell, I have to call an ambulance.
Ban put her chin up, and blushed, but Tony couldn’t possibly see the colour cause of the mud on her.
- Just call from your own.
Tony swore, and bit his lower lip.
- I don’t fucking have my phone, it fell off while I was rolling down there. If you want to find it, then good luck, the mud is welcoming you. Now stop screwing around and give me yours!
- I left all my stuff in the lab, better now?!
- Oh great – Tony sighed and clawed his face. – Couldn’t you take any other time to leave everything...
- Don’t try to blame it on me, okay?! It’s just as much your fault as it’s mine, so shut up! Tell me, who started racing, again?
- Excuse me? You went ahead with that crazy speed, I just followed. So yes, you started this who... Ohshit. – he gasped for breath and his hands clutched his jacked at his heart.
- What’s it?! – she barked, but then realised that Tony wasn’t playing. – Say something!
He panted and caughed hard.
- My ticker...
- Your what?!
- It’s... I guess it was damaged when I flew into a tree. Or it was from the motor, I dont know...
- Wait, wait, it’s your heart?! Fuck it Stark, I can’t operate you!
- I never asked you to operate me, could you just stop?!
- Don’t you die on me, I’ll get you back somehow...
Ban didn’t listen to him; she zipped down his jacked, and pulled up his t-shirt, she had to see how bad it was, but she couldn’t see blood just a few bruises.
And a shiny, circular plate in his chest. She stared at it, lips parted, without blinking. Tony slapped his forehead and passed his hand over his face. Great.
- For fuck’s sake, Scarlett, can’t you ever do anything like you’re told?
Ban finally blinked; she looked Tony in the eye and the ractor’s light reflected on her face.
- It’s beautiful.
Tony couldn’t react; he was blibking fast and opened his mouth to say something cool or teasing, but he didn’t even manage his usual blabbering.
- You made it, right? What does it do?
- Erm... yeah. Though the original plan was create by my father, I just upgraded it. The first, the big one is called ARC reactor, so that’s how I call this small one too.
It started to flicker, Ban frowned, and touched the plate.
- It’s cracked. The cover plate, and as I see there’s some small disorder in the inside too. I think I can fix the circulation, I have my equipment at my motor, I’ll go get it.
Tony toched the plate, and for the first time since he had it in his chest, he felt warm. Ban came back with a small suitcase with even smaller tools in it.
- So tell me what it does. Exactly. I don’t want to mess up, and I only have one hand.
The light flickered again and Tony sucked his breath in hard.
- Ticks my heart. It was kinda burnt, and useless, so I had the doctors make me an artificial one – just a part of it, and they connected the reactor to the new part, and it gives the impulses. So yeah, please do not mess up. The upper part only gives the energy, I think that you can figure out how it works...
- Shut up – Ban said angrily, and got her stuff ready. They moved under a bigger tree, to decrease the water included. She didn’t want to eletrocute them on top of everything.
- Managing?
- Piece of cake – Ban grinned as she cleaned a wire spiral and fused a broken connection. – Don’t think that you’re the only genious here. Though this reactor is pretty amazing.
- Oh, I can’t believe you actually acknowledged my genious.
- Fuck it, idiot.
They chuckled relieved, and Ban turned the reactor back in position. They were both looking down at Tony’s chest; so close, their foreheads met.
- I can’t fix the front plate though, it’s still cracked.
- My jacked will protect it until I can get a new one. Are you two handed? I couldn’t have done it with my left hand.
Ban shrugged.
- Guess so. I was born left handed. How are we gonna get back?
Tony frowned, and Ban was troubled too.
- I don’t think we can just catch a ride; nobody’s out in this weather on this road. It’s dangerous, y’know – Ban snorted grinning. – And even if we found a car, we still look like homeless criminals with all that mud and limps... How’s your motor?
- Fine... I think the cooling system was damaged, but I don’t know if it’s just eshetycal, or a real problem. But I’m afraid that it’s not controllable, maybe I saw a few thing missing from the first half, but I didn’t get a good look. I’d need a few components, and your wreck is useless, and I’d definetely need one more hand.
Tony grinned.
- I have two. And just beyond us, there’s a broke down car waiting to be dissected.
- You can’t be serious.
- What? It’s parking just after a crazy turn, it can cause accidents. And we’ve proved it. We need those pieces.
It took an awful lot of time to get back to the road; mostly Ban was pushing the motor and Tony navigated; he was happy to be able to move at all. And with one arm, and all the sliding it was one hell of a work. The rainstorm calmed down, when they finally got to the road. Even the sky started to clear up a bit. The rain was still falling, but at least it cleaned them a bit. They got to the other side of the road; Tony slipped under the car, disconnected the alarm, and Ban opened up the crank case. She frowned.
- What kind of retarded fuckface would leave his car here with a puny problem like this? Come on, even Craft could fix it.
Tony crawled out from under the car and beamed at her.
- If there’s any possible way, try not to fix it on first excitement, just take the parts.
- This is shit. I’ll have to redo my baby at home again... Okay we can use this... this and this, i hope it’ll be enough.
He gave the pieces to Tony, and he examined them as well the motor.
- We need to screw... meaning we need some screws too.
Ban chuckled and went to the boot, and found a toolbox. She picked a few screws and gave those to Tony too.
- Here, screw these – she said teasingly. – Meaning here’s your screws.
Fixing the broken parts was the easiest part of their day; working together like a well oiled machine, and getting anything done.
It was only drizzling when they finished the job.
- We’re good – said Ban. – But I can’t drive, not with one hand.
- No prob, I’ll drive – Tony stood up, leaning to the rock wall. Then hobbled to the motor and sat on it. – Two half-limps take a...
- Full-time limp? – Ban raised an eyebrow, but sat behind Tony and hugged him with her good arm. Her whole right side was bruised and her clothes ruined as they finally saw themselves when the rain washed most of the mud drom them. Tony’s clother were scratched in several places, and he had small injuries too.
- I don’t want to lay in hospital again – he sighed, and Ban couldn’t help but agree. She spent half of her childhood in medical care, because she tried everything, and usually broke her bones two times a year.
- Can you secure my leg?
Ban slided closer, she pressed herself to Tony’s back and moved her left leg under Tony’s, to keep it in position. He shrugged from the pain that the move caused, but didn’t say anything. Ban kicked in the gear and they were on their way, going a lot slower than ever before.
Even the Sun appeared sometimes.
- You know – Ban started. – Bruce is quitting physics.
- What?
- He’s going on with biology and chemistry major. He sais that’s cause he’ll only need those... but it’s painfully obvious that it’s because of you.
Tony didn’t answer and Ban didn’t harp on it anymore either.
- He couldn’t have done what you just did – he said finally.
- That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have tried.
They went into silence again.
- It’s not really about him being gay – Tony started to speak again. – Just... This is stupid, why do I even talk about these things to you?
- Dunno. Cause you’re stupid. Then what’s it about if not being gay?
- It is about that. But just partly. It’s complicated.
- I’ve just repaired you next century’s reactor, don’t fucking tell me I can’t understand complicated things.
- It’s different.
- I know. And you’re just as much of a social catastrophe as me, so spill it.
Tony laughed, but became serious again soon.
- I’ve known him for years, and we were like best friends, and we were close, he was someone I could tell anything... and I did. And somehow I thought that I was the same to him too, although I knew that I wasn’t the kind of guy, with whom anyone trusted their secrets, and I didn’t even want to became that kind, that’d ruin my image and my genious, but still it flattered my egoism. And now I realized that he couldn’t have told me. Not just because I’m not trustworthy, but because I couldn’t take it. And if I didn’t hear it from rumors, but he told me, I think I would’ve reacted the same.
- Wow.
- So I always knew that I was a fucked up friend, but all this... just shoved it in my face. And though I don’t really care, it’s never nice to face the fact that you’re nothing valuable as a human, again and again. And now you either think I’m pathetic or lying.
Ban didn’t think. Not for a minute and so, she would’ve slapped herslef for opening her mouth without thinking.
- I’d kiss you right now.
Tony stopped the motor, turned halfway back, and kissed her. She didn’t protest, leaned in, but after they broke apart, both started grinning like idiots.
- Awkward – she said with long ’a’. – I’ll take it as post-traumatic idiocity.
Tony’s grin dropped.
- Killjoy.
Ban laughed and hugged him again as he started the motor. She didn’t say a word for a few minutes.
- Still, you’re a good kisser.
